Alexander Charles Goble
I'm a software developer in North Carolina. Most people call me Alex.
Writing software is my day job. In my spare time I build Discord bots and tools for ARK: Survival Evolved, a survival game about taming dinosaurs. A few of those side projects ended up much bigger than I planned.
Things I've built
- Arkon
- A Discord bot for people who run ARK game servers. It links in-game chat to Discord, tracks players and gives admins moderation tools. It runs in more than 1,100 Discord servers.
- Vrt-Cogs
- More than 50 free, open-source plugins for Red, a Discord bot that people host themselves. They cover leveling, support tickets, AI assistants and mini-games.
- AutoFriend
- A free tool that accepts Xbox friend requests automatically, so players can join a host's ARK game without waiting on a person to click accept. It has accepted over 39,000 requests so far.
